The Author:
Tell = Tab
Tab grew up traveling to Narnia with
C.S. Lewis, in and out of Wonderland with Lewis Carroll, back in time to a little house in a big wood with Laura Ingalls Wilder,
and to the Metropolitan Museum of Art with E. L. Konigsburg. Not one of these adventures cost a dime—only time. (and
she says she's not a poet…)
These childhood travels within the confines
of her room led her adventuresome spirit to create worlds and situations and problems and solutions of her own. There was
one problem. Although she had the mind of a writer, she didn't have the habits of one yet. Worse
than that, she never thought of herself as a writer with anything of worth to share. Consequently, many of her adventures
were left in her childhood.
And then…
Stu, her high school sweetheart, swept
her off her clichéd feet, and then convinced her that she does have something worth sharing. So now, she writes about the
past and present adventures of daily life—being a wife, a mother, a friend, a teacher. Traveling, listening, reading
and writing are what she enjoys now.
But… if
that portal to Narnia or Wonderland happened to open up in front of her, she MIGHT have to take a short vacation from it all
(but this time she'd have Stu and the boys with her).
The Photographer:
Show = Stu
He got his first camera around the age of five, it was a Kodak Instamatic with the old "70's snap-in-place flash." Years
later he acquired his Pop's Minolta XG-7 (which is a funny story, you should ask one of them about it one day). Since then
photography has been a large part of Stu's life.
In the Summer of 1986, Stu left home bound for Fort McClellan, AL. He had joined the Army and was going off to Basic
Training on the split option program.
Returning in time to begin his Senior year of High School, it seemed like any other year. That all changed in March of
1987.
Stu asked Tab out on a date, based on information given to him by Shelli (he owes you) that a certain blonde band member
might just be interested. Stu, Tab, Shelli and Shawn went on a double date a week or so later. After seeing A Nightmare
on Elm Street III and a wonderful dinner at Burger King, Stu thought that this one just might very well be the one. He
was right.
